Alexandra Pintea

"I’ve made an odd discovery. Every time I talk to a savant, I feel quite sure that happiness is no longer a possibility. Yet when I talk with my gardener, I’m convinced of the opposite."

— Bertrand Russell

Born and raised in the heart of Transylvania, Alexandra has followed a literary path that has been anything but straightforward. She went from being convinced that she simply did not like reading to becoming someone who longs for a day when she can do nothing but read; from someone who would write down a thought only when it refused to leave her in peace, to someone who feels she has a story worth sharing.

Now she writes for herself—and for anyone willing to read her work.

More than anything, she would like to inspire those who feel that reading is not for them—children bored by obligatory school assignments, or retirees who think that because they have never enjoyed books, there is little point in starting now.

She lives with the conviction that there is a book for every person—and that it can be found. She hopes the book she is currently working on might become the right book for someone.

She studied law at the Faculty of Law at Babeș-Bolyai University, where she also completed a master’s degree in Private Law Institutions. Her professional path began in the legal field, working as a legal advisor. While living in Cluj-Napoca, at a time when the city’s IT industry was growing rapidly and opening new possibilities, she saw an opportunity to reinvent herself and found her way into programming.

Today, she works as a software developer, and if she could wish for just one thing, it would be for the days to become a little longer—so she can find time for everything she wants to do.
